Viking Bulgaria Ltd. was established in August, 2002 to provide university students with cultural exchange opportunities abroad.

We are a Bulgarian based recruiting agency, specialized in offering summer intercultural experience to young people from South Eastern Europe under the J1 visa. We hope that through cultural exchange programs Viking participants gain a better understanding of themselves, their communities and the society as a whole and work to affirm values such as tolerance, mutual respect and understanding on the Balkans and in the world.

Viking offers three options of the Summer Work and Travel USA program as well as various supporting services such as Max-Tax Refund service (US and UK tax refund), selling of airplane tickets, transportation services etc. We have an experienced network of 11 offices in 3 countries - Bulgaria, Macedonia and Croatia. More particularly our Bulgarian offices are located in the cities of Sofia, Veliko Tarnovo, Svishtov and Blagoevgrad; our Macedonian offices are in four major University cities Skopje, Bitola, Shtip and Tetovo, and in Croatia our offices are based in the cities of Osijek, Zagreb and Split.

Through the years Viking has cooperated with a number of designated by the U.S. Department of State Work/Travel Program sponsors.

The company multiethnic team consists of 15 highly-motivated and energetic young people from different backgrounds and cultures, all former and present Work and Travel participants.
